Cubo Glass Room in Slough
When our clients in Slough were looking for a way to add more outdoor space to their garden, they took the increasingly popular route and decided to turn to a glass room. Their ambitious project required an expert team who could build a glass-enclosed room that was luxurious and contemporary in style. After scouring the Berkshire area for glass specialists, they found themselves having to look further afield and appoint a nationwide company with expert glass room installation services, that is where Azure Outdoor Living came in!
The client identified an opportunity to find a use for their otherwise unused outdoor space, knowing an extension was not necessary due to the abundance of existing property space. After extensive research, they were satisfied that the Glass Room offered the ultimate solution – marrying seamlessly between indoor and outdoor living, providing an intermediate atmosphere in which they could entertain with friends and family and add value to the garden without overpowering it.
In this particular case, the clients’ extended property faced a unique issue with its low roofline; when exploring the options for a glass veranda, this became particularly evident. Fortunately, Our Cubo glass roof is able to work around this restriction due to its 2 degree internal pitch that allows it to fit conveniently underneath most facia and soffits. This made it the clear choice for these clients, who opted for the Cubo glass room over a more traditional looking lean-to glass room to solve their problem.
The overall size of the structure is 3.9 meters deep x 6.8 meters wide, giving an impressive total extension of 26.52 m2. What’s more is we delivered the complete span on only two structural posts minimising any obstructions to the view of the garden.
Completing this Cubo glass room installation for the delighted client was proof that modern designs can easily work in harmony with traditional building methods. Our Cubo glass room was crafted from a combination of powder coated aluminium and single pain glass, giving it strength, function, but also beauty.
