Azure were tasked with delivering an elegant glass extension to a beautiful Surrey home – an exciting challenge. The client wanted to carry through a contemporary feel by using strong aluminium frames and copious glass, ensuring it had a 21st century makeover. To add cohesion between the old and new structures, a side wall of brick was added with a long feature window – the result? A smooth transition between past and present that creating unity throughout the home design.
This modern glass extension was designed to create an elegant wintergarden that felt both stylish and beneficial. With glass running down one side, the roof wrapping around a 90° corner, and bifold doors in the front, the outcome was truly remarkable. The glass was chosen to maximize light into the room, and when the bifold doors are opened, it provides a perfect transition from indoors out. This space is truly unique due to its blend of style and function.
Our glass extension was a modern solution for our client’s needs; the Hawaii 80 offered a strong and reliable aluminium frame that is powder-coated to a marine-grade standard in a stunning RAL 7016 anthracite grey, lending an elegant finish to their wintergarden.
