Commercial Glazing Installation for Urban Bull Lounge, Norwich

This project in Norwich involved the design, survey, supply and installation of bespoke aluminium glazing systems for the Urban Bull Lounge, a contemporary café, brunch venue and cocktail bar located in the NR3 district of the city.

The building originally operated as a traditional butcher’s shop before undergoing a full architectural renovation to transform the space into a modern hospitality venue.

The redevelopment required significant alterations to the building façade in order to introduce large glazed elevations that would maximise natural light, increase visibility from the street and create a strong visual connection between the interior of the venue and the surrounding neighbourhood.

The Brief

The vision for the project was to convert the former shop premises into a stylish and welcoming café and bar that would stand out architecturally while remaining sympathetic to the surrounding streetscape.

The client wanted the building to feel open and inviting, allowing customers inside the venue to remain visually connected to the street while also drawing attention from passers-by.

To achieve this, the renovation required:

The Building: From Butcher’s Shop to Modern Hospitality Venue
